I shall be on the HardTalk show on TopFM this afternoon as from 5.30 p.m. The show is hosted by Habib Mosaheb as usual and the other guest is Kiran Ramsahye (chief editor of Le Matinal).

Today’s show is devoted to the year 2006 main news. Tune in if you’re interested. Listeners can also phone in their questions.

I will of course post about the show tomorrow.

    1hr30 was not enough indeed
    i tuned in rather late
coz i dnt usually listen to top fm
    the subject was rather intesting..
indeed i do agree with u
that some decisions couldve wait..for instance free transport..
    however
it will b difficult now for any govt to remove the free transport..they might perhaps modify it..bt that too will cause much noise..many would not like this..
and any govt doing so might become impopular..
    concerning the corruption matter..
it has always been the case that an institution(i wonder if it the way it is said..) which has been set up for corruption and frauds were dismantled by the one govt or another..it happened with the ECO..the ICAC 1.0..wonder if that will happen for ICAC 2.0..
    well..
imho icac members and affairs should b kept under secret..only the prime minister should know abt it..
and the member should be chosen by foreigners..for eg y not the UN..bt on the other hand..there wouldnt b any transparency :s
    anyways,.
je suis pas un connaisseur en matiere politique..
    mais je sais pas..
je suis pas tellement positif moi
am part of the middle class ki se voit appauvri de jrs en jrs..
    dad’s pensionner..mum doesnt work..
and am still at uni…so u can imagine..that its not easy
    next
    concerning insecurity..
    well
    our roads weren’t safe..
    neither are our homes nowadays…
    well..
    i have a philosophy
    i dunno if u’d agree..
i always think of the worse case first..
thus if smtg goods happens..we’ll b happy..
    else..
we’re already prepared for the worse..
    so..
    let think of the worse..
    rupee will fall even more..
petroleum price will keep on rising..
    poor will get poorer..(rich richer???)
purchasing power of mauritians will keep on decreasing..
    more crimes..
    more accidents
    more corruptions
some1 else will buy an Aston Martin..
i might get another resit and re do my last yr :s
i wnt get the 10 million lottery(coz i need to buy it first…)
all the icebergs will melt down
    winter will b colder..
    summer hotter..

    thats abt it..
    happy new year..
